Offshore Support Vessels are purpose built or converted for general offshore support activities. They have DP2 or DP3 and sufficient accommodation to charterer to support a subsea intervention project. They have no specific secondary design role although they could be used for ROV support. OSV's that do have a specific secondary role, for example Dive Support, are included under their own category in our listings. |

OSV / ROV Support Vessels meet the definition of OSV, but have some degree of modification to facilitate ROV support activities, or who’s primary roles is clearly that of an ROV support vessel. |

Offshore Work Vessels are offshore support vessels that are self powered, and are positioned by DP1 or less, or via a mooring system. |
