OSV / Offshore Support Vessels

Under the DMC vessel categorisation scheme (See DMC Vessel categories), Offshore Support Vessels are purpose built or converted for general offshore support activities. They have DP2 or DP3 and sufficient accommodation to charterer to support a subsea intervention project. They have no specific secondary design role although they could be used for ROV support. OSV's that do have a specific secondary role, for example Dive Support, are included under their own category in our listings (please see the links on the right).
