Kestrel - Quiver

Quiver, a beautiful male Kestrel but when he was brought to us he was so badly injured after flying into discarded wire and twine there seemed very little hope of survival. It took 18 months but he is now recovered fully but due to the fact that he is partially imprinted it would not have been possible to release him into the wild. He is therefore now a valuable member of the flying display team and popular with educational visits.

Hobby - Bilbo

Hobby`s are one of our summer visitors from Africa, they come here to breed, sadly Bilbo is another casualty of Man`s disregard to Nature. He was caught up in netting and he sustained very serious injuries. He does now have an important role as an ambassador for the need for conservation and hopefully will be part of our breeding program.
